Nero MediaHome can connect your PC to your TV, or other computer, through your network (wireless or cable) using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) to turn your PC into a server for streaming media. You can also connect to an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3.

To get best use out of Nero MediaHome, you'll need a wireless media router. Nero MediaHome will then manage the sharing of files from your PC to other devices, meaning a laptop in another room can easily stream media from your central PC. Nero MediaHome is very good at discovering and configuring itself, making it really easy to use.

Despite its ease of use, most wireless media centers/hard drives come with software that allows you to stream to multiple computers. Nero MediaHome's library organization is not so great as to justify its existence. Its ideal for people who want to both stream media to computers, and through a Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. The latter can be difficult to do otherwise.
